EnticeChat Privacy Policy

What EnticeChat collects, why, who processes it, and the choices you have. Written for the app as it works today, including its AI companions, credits, subscriptions and advertising.

Effective date: October 30, 2026

1. Introduction and age requirement

EnticeChat is an AI companion app where you create and talk with fictional AI characters. This policy explains what information EnticeChat collects, why we collect it, which providers process it for us, and the choices you have.

It applies to the EnticeChat website at enticechat.com, the EnticeChat Android app, and every page and feature inside them. In this policy, “we”, “us” and “EnticeChat” mean the operator of EnticeChat, and “you” means the person using the app.

EnticeChat is for adults only. You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. When you confirm that you are 18 or older, and again before 18+ companions are shown to you, we store a record of that declaration. It is a statement you make: it is not identity verification, and we do not ask for a government ID or a birth certificate.

EnticeChat is not therapy, medical care or an emergency service. Companions are software, not people.

2. Account information we collect

To use EnticeChat you create an account. We collect and store:

  • Your email address and a password. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and are never stored by us in readable form.
  • The sign-in method you used, such as email and password or a connected Google account.
  • Profile information you enter: nickname, bio, topics, languages, response-time preference, availability and notification settings.
  • Your profile photo or avatar, if you upload one.
  • Your account status and role, and the dates your account and records were created or last updated.
  • Your 18+ declaration record: the method used, which notice version you accepted, and when you accepted it.

Profile photos are kept in public file storage, which means anyone who has the image link can open it. Please only upload a photo you are comfortable showing publicly.

Technical data. Like any hosted service, the platform that runs EnticeChat records the requests needed to operate and secure the app, including error and traffic logs. Those logs can contain the IP address and device details that accompany a request. We use them to run the app, investigate abuse and fix faults; we do not use them to build advertising profiles. A sign-in token is stored in your browser or app so you stay signed in.

3. Human-to-human messages and conversations

EnticeChat does not currently offer private one-to-one messaging between people, paid human listening sessions, bookings or sessions with human listeners. The human-to-human content in the app is the public community feed.

  • Posts you write, with an optional image, which are visible to other signed-in users.
  • Comments you write, shown with the nickname and avatar you had at the time.
  • Your likes, follows, hidden posts and blocks.
  • Reports you submit about a post or comment, with the reason you selected. Reports are visible to moderation staff only, and the person you reported is not told who reported them.

Earlier versions of EnticeChat included human listener profiles, bookings and session conversations. If your account contains records from that period, they are stored privately and are not displayed in the app today.

Please do not post personal or sensitive information in the feed. It is public, and other people can copy or screenshot it.

4. AI listeners and customizable AI companions

Companions are software. Every reply you receive is generated by an AI model, not written by a person, and no human is reading your conversation live.

When you send a message to a companion, that message, the companion's configuration (name, description, personality, backstory, characteristics, interests and conversation style) and the recent part of your conversation are sent through our platform provider's AI integration to AI model providers so that a reply can be generated. Replies are produced automatically and can be inaccurate, incomplete or inappropriate.

Companions you publish appear in the public library with their name, avatar, description and persona text. Companion avatars and text are stored as public image and text data.

A creator can mark a companion as 18+. Companions marked 18+ are only shown to accounts that have recorded the adult declaration described above. Model safety rules still apply, regardless of the companion's settings.

You can stop a companion at any time so it can no longer message you, and you can report a companion or a specific message from the chat screen.

5. Saved companion profiles and conversation histories

We save your companion chats so your history is still there when you return. That means we store the conversation record (companion name at the time, status, start time, last activity and message count) and each message in it, including the text and whether it came from you or from the companion.

Your private chats can be read by you and, for safety review, moderation and technical support, by app administrators.

For creators, we keep daily aggregate statistics for each companion: profile views, unique visitors (counted once per account per day), chats started and visitor messages. These counters do not contain IP addresses, device identifiers or the content of anyone's conversations.

Closing your account deletes all of your companion conversations and messages. Section 14 explains exactly what is removed.

6. Audio and video calls, microphone and camera permissions

This version of EnticeChat does not include audio or video calling, and the app does not request microphone or camera permission for calls. When you upload a profile photo or a post image, your device's file picker gives the app access only to the file you selected.

If calling is added in a future version, the app will ask for microphone permission, and for camera permission when you turn video on, at the moment you start or join a call, and only then. You can refuse, and you can revoke either permission at any time in your Android settings or your browser's site settings. Live audio and video would be carried by a real-time media provider (Daily.co) and would not be recorded by us unless a feature states otherwise before you use it.

We will update this policy before any such feature begins processing microphone or camera data.

7. Payments, subscriptions, AI credits and listener earnings

AI message credits and monthly plans are sold through Base44 Payments, which runs on Wix Payments. Checkout takes place on a payment page hosted by that provider: you enter your card details there, and they go to the provider. We never receive or store your full card number or its security code.

We do receive and keep the records needed to deliver what you paid for and to keep your balance accurate:

  • Order and purchase identifiers, the amount charged, the currency, the order status and date, the product or plan identifier, and the email address entered at checkout.
  • Subscription details: plan name, subscription identifier, status (active, canceling, canceled or expired), and the start and end of the current billing period.
  • Credit details: your subscription allocation, credits used, purchased credits, lifetime totals and a ledger of credit transactions.

We do not keep your card details or your billing address. The payment provider keeps them under its own privacy policy and terms.

Monthly plans renew automatically until canceled. You can cancel from the AI messages screen in the app, and access continues to the end of the paid period.

EnticeChat does not currently pay earnings to users. There is no listener earnings balance in the app.

8. Listener payouts and Stripe Connect

EnticeChat does not currently offer paid human listening sessions, listener earnings or listener payouts. There is no listener onboarding, no earnings balance and no new Stripe Connect sign-up inside the app today.

If your account was created during an earlier version of EnticeChat that supported listener payouts, records from that period may be retained privately. These can include earnings ledgers, payout requests and their status, connected payout account identifiers, refunds and related tax information.

We keep those records only where accounting, tax, fraud prevention, chargebacks or legal claims require it. They are never shown on your public profile, and they are not used for advertising.

9. Advertising, including Google AdSense

EnticeChat displays advertising supplied by Google AdSense. The AdSense script loads from Google's servers, and Google may use cookies and similar identifiers to select, cap and measure ads.

Personalized advertising stays off until you agree in our cookie banner. Your answer is stored in your browser and reported to Google Consent Mode, so ad and analytics storage are denied before you choose and remain denied if you decline. Ads may still appear, but they are not personalized using those signals.

You can change your answer at any time with the Cookies link in the footer. Google's own handling of this data is described in Google's privacy policy, and Google's ad settings let you control ad personalization across the sites you visit.

We do not pass your emails, chats, companion conversations or profile details to advertisers.

10. Third-party providers

We rely on a small set of providers to run EnticeChat:

  • Base44: application hosting, database, authentication and sign-in emails such as account verification and password reset, file storage, server functions, the AI gateway and operational logs.
  • Wix Payments, used through Base44 Payments: card processing, subscriptions, receipts, refunds and the tax handling attached to your purchases.
  • Google, through AdSense: advertising delivery and ad measurement, as described in section 9.
  • AI model providers reached through Base44: processing of your companion messages and companion persona text in order to generate replies.
  • Daily.co: real-time audio and video media, only if a calling feature is enabled in a future version.

These providers process data on our behalf, or as independent controllers for their own purposes (Google advertising is one example), under their own terms and privacy policies. We do not sell your personal information and we do not share it with data brokers.

11. Data sharing and security

We share personal information only in these situations:

  • With the providers listed in section 10, so the app can work.
  • With app administrators, for moderation, safety and support.
  • When the law requires it, or when we receive valid legal process.
  • To protect the rights, safety and security of our users, the public or EnticeChat, for example when investigating fraud, threats or abuse.
  • As part of a merger, acquisition or sale of assets, where the recipient remains bound by this policy.

Security measures in place: the app is served over HTTPS and data is encrypted in transit. Passwords are handled by our authentication provider and never stored by us. Access to records is enforced on the server, so a signed-in user can only read their own conversations, credit balance and reports unless they are an administrator. Payment and credit operations run on the server with credentials that never reach your browser, and administrative actions are written to an audit log.

No service can promise perfect security. If you believe your account has been compromised, email enticechat@gmail.com so we can help you secure it.

12. Data retention

We keep your account and profile information while your account is open. Companion conversations and messages are kept until you delete them or close your account.

Companions you delete are deactivated and removed from the public library, but the underlying record is kept so that earlier conversations, messages and reports still read correctly.

Moderation reports and their notes are kept while a report is open and afterwards as a safety record. Payment, credit, payout, refund and tax records are kept for as long as accounting, tax, fraud-prevention and dispute rules require. Short-lived rows such as notification entries and rate-limit counters are removed as they stop being needed.

Operational logs held by our providers are kept for a limited period under their own retention rules. Section 14 explains what closing your account removes and what is retained.

13. Your privacy rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

  • Know what personal information we hold about you and receive a copy of it.
  • Correct information that is wrong or incomplete.
  • Delete your account and the personal information attached to it.
  • Receive your information in a portable format.
  • Restrict or object to certain processing.
  • Withdraw a consent you gave, including for advertising cookies.
  • Not be treated differently for exercising these rights.

To exercise a right, email enticechat@gmail.com from the address on your account and tell us what you would like. We may ask you to confirm that you control the account before we act, and we respond within 30 days or the period your local law requires. Some requests have limits: we cannot delete records we must keep for tax or legal reasons, and we cannot provide content that belongs to someone else.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising unless you allowed advertising cookies in the banner. Where the law allows an authorized agent to act for you, we may still ask you to confirm the request yourself.

If you are in the European Economic Area or the United Kingdom, you also have the right to complain to your local data protection authority.

14. Account and personal information deletion

You can delete your account and its personal information in two ways:

  • In the app: open Profile, find the account section and choose Close my account, then type DELETE to confirm. The deletion runs immediately.
  • By email: write to enticechat@gmail.com from the address on your account with the subject “Account deletion request”. Our Account and Data Deletion page explains what to include and how long it takes.

Closing your account erases your profile details (nickname, bio, photo, topics, languages and response-time preference), your notifications and availability, your companions (unpublished, deactivated and their creator name cleared), your posts (hidden) and comments (hidden, with the author name anonymized), your likes, follows, hidden posts and rate-limit records, your AI companion conversations and messages, and your blocks. It also cancels any active AI message plan so you are not billed again, and it cancels any live human session left over from an earlier version of the app.

It ends your session, and the sign-in record itself is removed from the account list by our team.

Some records are kept, privately and never shown publicly: payment, credit, payout, refund and audit records; safety and moderation reports with the message history attached to them; and your 18+ declaration record. These are retained for accounting, fraud prevention, dispute resolution and legal obligations.

Once deletion is complete the account cannot be used again, and it cannot be restored through the app.

Read the Account and Data Deletion page

15. Children's privacy

EnticeChat is for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18 or under the age of digital consent in their country, whichever is higher. We do not ask for a date of birth and we do not verify age with identity documents; age is confirmed by the user's own declaration.

If we learn that an account belongs to a minor, we close the account and delete its personal information. If you are a parent or guardian and believe a minor is using EnticeChat, email enticechat@gmail.com with the account's email address or nickname and we will investigate.

16. Policy updates

We may update this policy when the app changes, for example when a new feature handles information differently. The effective date at the top of this page always shows the current version.

If a change materially affects what we do with your information, we will tell you in the app or by email before it takes effect. Continuing to use EnticeChat after the effective date means you accept the updated policy. Earlier versions are available on request.
